Though I'm not sure "too many photos" is something I subscribe to.
I've always been an over-taker when it comes to digital photos. I don't trust that I've already gotten THE shot, so I take another twenty.
It can lead to a bit of a backlog of photos, and a laptop that has to be fixed by John every couple of months when I fill it up with more photos again.
But how can I not snap a photo of Orelia staring at the waves with a shelf of hair lifted above her face?
And her curls just look extra magical when seen through sunlight on the beach.
In a setting like this, you just can't help but fill up your memory card.
On vacation the smiles are more genuine.
The moments are more spontaneous.
Harper stuck her furry behind in a hole John had just dug, which of course warranted a photo.
I guess I have "too many photos" of her laughter.
And "too many photos" of these curls.
And definitely "too many photos" of her rainbow manicure.
And "too many photos" of her squinty blue eyes.
It's clearly time for a new computer to store my "too many photos."
Because I can guarantee I'll be taking "too many" for the rest of these kids' lives.
So I better make the most of his chubby thighs and collared one-pieces while I can.
I'm grateful for this blog which gives me a place to share "too many photos" whenever I get the urge. I promise to keep taking these photos so long as there are grandparents and family members out there eager to see them.
We love "too many photos"! Keep up the good work. It's never " too many" for us.
