We were gifted a big blue sun hat back when Orelia was a newborn. Little did we know it would be the perfect hat to take with us to Hawaii six months later.
The big brim made it perfect for peaking out just slightly from Daddy's shoulder.
When the wind caught it just right, Orelia looked like Paul Revere or some other colonial type. Paul Revere in a pink bathing suit.
The best she looked in the hat, however, was when she was wearing it with her hat twin, Daddy.
Next year I'll need to get one too, I guess! Or maybe we will just all wear matching pink bathing suits.
