Princess Sleepover Etc.

We had the most amazing visit with one of my best friends - Anika - and Orelia's new best friend - Arianna.

Every day was filled with smiles and sunshine and lots and lots of swinging.

We had been talking about this visit for months - both me and Anika and me and Orelia.  I had been showing Orelia pictures of Anika and Arianna and telling her all the things we would do together.  Within an hour of Arianna's arrival the girls were dressed in their Elsa finest, cuddling in Orelia's bed and having a "princess sleepover."  It was magical.

Every park was new again to Orelia because it was a more fun experience with her cool, older friend.

Everything Arianna did, Orelia wanted to do too.  Imitation is the highest form of flattery they say.

Bennett didn't join in most of our adventures because Noni was in town to give him cuddles and proper naps in his bed at home.  John was in Beijing for a week, but luckily with Noni, Anika, and Arianna around, Orelia and Bennett managed to survive.

Seen through Arianna's eyes, our backyard became a perfect play land to Orelia.

There were bubbles, and Color Foam, and chalk and all the things I could find in my shed to entertain youngsters.

Arianna essentially wanted to be in the backyard every minute we were at our house, and of course Orelia was happy to follow.

Harper had two little girls to race and play fetch with.  Occasionally I played Snow Monster to Orelia and Arianna's Anna and Kristoff.   Bennett got to enjoy the view.  Basically everyone was winning.

It was the most fun our yard has ever seen.

We are so sad they are gone because nothing can live up to the excitement of their fun visit.  Hopefully they can come back soon for more princess sleepovers, swinging, and bubble popping.
